The temperature increase of planetary ball mill is mainly due to the impact of grinding media, the mechanical friction energy of grinding materials and the energy released when materials are broken. It may also be caused by the excessive temperature of materials. In short, when the temperature inside the planetary ball mill is too high, we need to find a way to reduce it.
Three basic cooling methods:
1. Strengthen the ventilation inside the planetary ball mill machine
The cooling air volume of the mill can be calculated according to the heat balance of the planetary ball mill, but if the air volume is too large, the grinding effect will be worse.
2. Add a water spray device
Spraying water from the mill head or the mill tail is feasible. Only when the temperature of the incoming abrasive is higher than 100 degrees, can water be sprayed from the feed end of the planetary ball mill, or it can be sprayed downstream.
3. Water spray cooling inside the planetary ball mill
The water cooling inside the mill is modified on the basis of the water cooling outside the mill. The water is sprayed into the mill in the state of atomization with compressed air, which not only utilizes the sensible heat of water, but also utilizes the latent heat of water when evaporating, effectively taking away the heat inside the mill.
Laboratory planetary ball mill is an important equipment for fine and ultra-fine crushing of materials. When it works, it relies on centrifugal force to send materials into the grinding chamber, and then the steel balls in the grinding chamber hit and grind with the materials to achieve the purpose of crushing and fine crushing of materials.
