The laboratory planetary ball mill adopts the working principle of planetary operation, which greatly improves the grinding effect compared with the traditional ball mill, and has received more attention in recent years. It is widely used in laboratory laser spectroscopic analysis, precision grinding of chemical, pharmaceutical, biological, glass, ceramic, building materials, coal raw materials, pretreatment of laboratory samples in the food industry as well as research areas of material technology, geology, mineralogy and nuclear industry.
According to the physical characteristics of the grinding materials, planetary ball mills are divided into vertical planetary ball mill, horizontal planetary ball mill, all direction planetary ball mill, and low temperature planetary ball mill. The planetary ball mill is equipped with 4 ball grinding keys on a turntable. When the turntable rotates, the ball mill jar revolves around the turntable axis and rotates in the opposite direction around its own axis at the same time. The grinding ball and the material in the key collide and rub against each other in high-speed motion to achieve the purpose of crushing, grinding, mixing and dispersing the sample. The unique overall 360-degree turning function of the full-directional planetary ball mill makes the grinding of the material more uniform and the grinding effect better, and can also effectively prevent the material from sinking to the bottom.
Planetary ball mill grinding materials can also be divided into dry grinding, wet grinding and vacuum grinding. It integrates functions of fine grinding, small sample production, and product trial production into one, and can sample four kinds at one time. It is not only an ideal tool for new material development, but also a necessary equipment for small batch grinding and production of special materials.
